About the national park

Joshua Tree National Park in Twentynine Palms, California is a beautiful park full of cacti, desert animals and its namesake: Joshua trees. Visitors love coming here to see the diverse ecosystem of California and to partake in outdoor activities. Roam across the 800,000-acre park with friends and family during any time of year. The entrance fee for the park is $30 for a vehicle, which lasts for the next six days, $25 for a motorcycle and $15 for a person on a bike or on foot.

Be sure to bring your own food, as the park doesn't provide any, and lots of water. The park has bathrooms.
Because some of the desert animals are dangerous and the cacti are harmful when touched, wear closed-toe shoes. You could also wear a hat and sunglasses to protect your face from the sun.

Many things to see

Beautiful park and many things to see, but only in certain areas. Drive from the west side of the park to south side of the park. Bring food! No food at all in the park, but nice that they have lots of restrooms!! Enjoyed the hike on the Hidden Valley loop.
